Part I also will delve into the SOX Paradox, a situation where the need for compliance and internal controls can reduce the ability of a public company to be agile and dynamic in the marketplace. This scenario is paradoxical because the internal controls that must be documented under SOX are meant to help a company perform well and meet its financial goals.
